Family Mediators Association

Defined as “the home of professional family mediators” on their website

The Family Mediators Association, established in 1988, is a membership organization for family mediators representing over 400 family mediators. FMA is a lead body and founding member of the Family Mediation Council (FMC), which co-ordinates regulation of and develops common standards for professional family mediators.

Lord Wilson of Culworth (Supreme Court Judge since 2011) was the President from 1998 to 2011.

Justice currently being sold/influenced by Lord Wilson’s wife, Lady Wilson (former barrister, housewife for a decade, then Judge) has been a mediator since 2007 (when her husband, Lord Wilson, was the President) and one who guarantees success (of course via her husband’s connections):

“In 2007 I trained as a mediator and since then I have carried out a large number of mediations for the Tribunal in Greater London and in the Birmingham area, specialising in service charge and similar disputes. I am a proactive mediator with a very high record of success.” (Lady Wilson, LinkedIn)
